The Opportunity:
Heb jij een achtergrond in chemie en werk je graag samen met collega's in een labo-omgeving? Bij Avantor zoeken we een Lab Technician om ons team in Haasrode te versterken!
Binnen deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van een breed gamma aan analyses op een groot arsenaal van grondstoffen, hierdoor kan je veel bijleren en brengt elke dag iets nieuw met zich mee!
Je maakt onderdeel uit van Fine Chemicals (FC) België, één van de twee Europese VWR , part of Avantor productie units waar de ‘Private Label’ producten worden afgevuld. FC richt zich o.a. tot de farmaceutische markt met op maat gemaakte producten en oplossingen.
Werkuren
Je werkt in deze functie van maandag tot vrijdag in Haasrode (Leuven). Omdat je telkens vroeg begint (tussen 7u en 7u45) ben je vrijdagnamiddag vrij.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Je staat in voor de analyse van grondstoffen en eindproducten volgens methodieken (pharmacopoeia) alsook de analyse van half-fabrikaten, voornamelijk titraties
- Je voert ook Instrumentele analyses (ICP) uit.
- Je registreert de analyse resultaten conform GMP/GDP-richtlijnen
- Je verwerken analyse-data in het SAP systeem
- Je voert kalibratie van labo-apparatuur uit volgens de opgestelde planning
- Je maakt gebruik van chromatografische technieken (GC, HPLC, …)
- Je staat in voor het opstarten en uitvoeren van biochemische analyses (microbiologie, endotoxine bepalingen, RNase – DNase bepalingen, …)
Qualificaties
- Ervaring: Je hebt een professionele bachelor diploma in Scheikunde of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
- Ervaring in Biochemische/Microbiologische bepalingen is een pluspunt.
- Je kan vlot communiceren in het Nederlands en Engels, zowel geschreven als gesproken.
- Je hebt een goede kennis van het Microsoft Office pakket, kennis van SAP is een pluspunt.
- Je kan zelfstandig werken maar werkt ook graag samen met collega's.
- Je hebt analytisch inzicht en draagt orde, netheid en veiligheid hoog in het vaandel.
