Key Account Manager Consumer Health


As Key Account Manager, you are responsible for planning, driving and scaling our consumer health business at assigned Key accounts.
You act as a strategic partner for key accounts and pharmacy group where cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and being accountable for the daily management of your customers.
This role is critical to Bayer Consumer Health growth in the Belgian market. Your entrepreneurship and strategic expertise will directly impact our sales performance, market share growth and brands visibility.


YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Build strategic partnerships: strengthen relationships with assigned customers such as pharmacy group, e-com, drugstore or supermarket customers.
  • Plan and develop the commercial strategy for those Key accounts, convincing stakeholders with an enthusiastic and pragmatic approach.
  • Lead & grow national key accounts : deliver sales targets and profitability for Consumer Health business.
  • Manage the accounts assigned budget and set priorities within this budget.
  • Challenge the current strategy by introducing new ideas, engaging in dialogue with stakeholders, and launching pilot projects.
  • Collaborate closely with other Consumer Health internal departments (a.o. Customer service, Marketing, Supply & Trade).
  • Analyze actions, competitive environment and sales results (with the support of customers workteam) making adjustments where necessary.
  • Responsible for applied discounts, and execute and implement business plan initiatives at Key Account level.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the consumer health landscape and the dynamics of Key Accounts.
  • Project management: lead projects from A to Z related to commercial activities.
  • Engage operational partners through continuous feedback and the setting of shared goals.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in making business decisions.
  • Adhere to and comply with all legal and compliance regulations related to OTC environment.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Sales, Marketing or Business/Economics
  • +3 to 5 years of sales experience in Consumer Health or FMCG. With solid track record of success (including delivering on targets), with first Key Account experience
  • Strong relationship building, selling and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – combined with an assertive attitude
  • Demonstrated leadership & collaboration in a multidisciplinary work environment, with experience collaborating across departments.
  • Understanding of omnichannel strategy. Knowledge of the Belgian healthcare market is a plus
  • Well-organized with a keen eye for detail in reporting and administrative tasks
  • Strong analytical and technical skills in MS Office – especially Excel
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English
