💼 Your Role: Key Account Manager – Clinical Research
As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted partner for a select group of strategic clients. You’ll drive growth, build long-term relationships, and act as the vital link between our clients and SGS’s global Clinical Research Organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Be the go-to contact for key clients, building trust and delivering value.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets and uncover new opportunities.
- Lead regular business reviews to align on goals, address challenges, and propose tailored solutions.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and an exceptional client experience.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize client potential.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to proactively guide your strategy.
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing in partnership with our business development team.
- Provide timely, solution-oriented support to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Align internal stakeholders with account strategies to unlock new business opportunities.
Qualifications
🎓 What You Bring:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Key Account Management, sales, or client relationship roles—ideally within a CRO or Clinical Research setting.
- Strong understanding of the drug development process.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- A strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and a passion for client success.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients when needed.
