Java Backend Developer

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Development and maintenance of Information Systems testing scenarios (testing new features and non-regression testing).
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with end users, business managers and the project team.
• Development and maintenance of technical documentation
• Assistance in analysis, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
• Writing clean, functional code for the back-end and possibly front-end applications.
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Master's degree in IT and minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's degree in IT and minimum of 9 years relevant experience).
• At least 2 years experience with Java 8+, Java EE, development and frameworks Spring, Spring Boot.
• At least 2 years experience using Oracle Database and Oracle Service Bus.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in cloud development with AWS.
• Experience with SOAP Webservices and REST APIs.
• Previous experience with tools for web services testing (SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, Postman).
• Experience in Kafka and JMS.
• Proven experience in OpenID Connect integration and SSO.
• Previous experience with blockchain technology.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of Java application server WebLogic.
• Knowledge of CI/ CD pipelines and suited such as Bamboo.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes).
• Excellent English language skills(C-level, written and spoken).
