At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join our UniQue team.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Development and maintenance of Information Systems testing scenarios (testing new features and non-regression testing).
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with end users, business managers and the project team.
- Development and maintenance of technical documentation
- Assistance in analysis, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
- Writing clean, functional code for the back-end and possibly front-end applications.
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Master's degree in IT and minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's degree in IT and minimum of 9 years relevant experience).
- At least 5 years experience with Java development and middle-tier development using languages and frameworks Java/Spring boot.
- At least5 years experience in back-end data-base development using Oracle & PL/SQL.
- Minimum of specific expertise in standard DevSecOps technology.
- Experience in back-end development using PostgreSQL.
- Previous experience with service oriented, REST, web services, architectures.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Jira, Confluence and Sharepoint.
- Experience with code versioning tools, i.e. Git & continuous integration tools like Bamboo.
- Very good knowledge and experience in unit testing.
- Experience in integration with AI systems will be considered an asset.
- Excellent English language skills(C-level, written and spoken).
