Roles & Responsibilities
One of our clients is looking for an experienced IT Functional Analyst to join a cross-functional squad working on an investment dashboard used by customers to monitor their investment products. The team operates in an Agile environment and supports efforts to improve accessibility and usability of investment tools.
- Define business specifications and user stories
- Create functional analysis and process documentation
- Align with stakeholders on processes, risks, and dependencies
- Define release and testing strategies
- Support change approach, architecture, and compliance alignment
- Contribute to improvements in quality, delivery, and operational efficiency
Profile
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in complex environments
- Experience in Agile Scrum teams
- Comfortable working with stakeholders across business and IT
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
- Solid knowledge of Java 8, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, and Flink
- Experience with automated testing tools (Cucumber, JUnit)
- Familiar with Maven, Jenkins, Git, SQL, and basic scripting (Groovy)
- Understanding of architecture, networking, middleware, and security standards
- Previous experience in financial services, ideally investment-related
- Team-oriented, communicative, and committed to quality and continuous improvement
