Job description
We’re looking for a curious writer and digital-savvy storyteller. Someone who’s eager to turn business topics into engaging stories, highlight our people and projects, and help us spot the next big idea.
What you’ll do
- Internal Journalist & Content Creation
- Write articles, scripts and stories that bring Aliaxis’ values, people, and projects to life
- Interview colleagues from around the world to uncover great stories
- Help animate internal channels (Blink and others) with fresh, engaging content
- Support the Content Lead on research, drafting and story ideation
- Keep a consistent tone aligned with our editorial style and voice
- Content Research & Curation
- Scout and curate internal and external stories worth sharing
- Stay on top of trends and campaigns that inspire and inform
- Prepare materials for the Content Lead, including research summaries and editorial inputs.
- Media & Social Media Monitoring
- Track press and social media for trends, risks and opportunities
- Feed insights into our LinkedIn publishing rhythm
- Help identify narratives and mentions that support our Annual Report
- Digital Asset Library
- Help keep our photo, video and content libraries structured and accessible
- Actively hunt for high-quality visuals (photos, screenshots, videos) to enrich the library and refresh older assets.
- Tag, classify and organize assets to make sure the best visuals are always just a click away
- Act as a behind-the-scenes guardian of our brand visuals
The role reports to the Head of Group Corporate Communications and is based in Aliaxis’ modern global head office in an easily accessible location in Brussel, with flexible remote working options.
Requirements
- First experience in journalism, content writing, or communication.
- Native-level English, with crisp and purposeful writing
- Structured and meticulous mindset, ensuring content accuracy and consistency, and alignment with corporate messaging.
- Interview skills with the ability to engage sources and simplify complex concepts.
- Digital curiosity – you enjoy working with internal platforms, media tools and dashboards
- Organized, precise, and comfortable with librarian-style missions (you actually like tagging stuff!)
- Good knowledge of Photoshop or similar creative tools is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, transformative, and diverse international environment.
