Job Purpose
The Distribution Planning team is responsible for the allocation of final products throughout the European and global logistic network. The team collaborates with production planning, tactical planning, sales, and customer service to ensure optimal production allocation. The intern will analyze various elements of distribution planning such as demand fluctuations, order collection, and inventory levels.
The intern will support the team and Regional Coordinators in achieving business goals (Sales, Efficiency KPIs), ensuring correction and updating of parameters and master data for proper replenishment of markets and warehouses. The role will also involve supporting the RYOGA implementation in Bridgestone LSCM, meaning the re-definition and implementation of current processes in advanced digital language. The intern will report to the Distribution Planning Manager and collaborate closely with the Distribution Planning Analyst.
We offer a 6-month internship that provides exposure to one of our core business units: Logistics, Supply Chain & Customer Services Management (LSCM). During this time, the intern will work in an international, diverse business environment and interact with various stakeholders across Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, and regional sales teams.

Responsibilities:
Master Data update (Line Up, Source, Production Plan, Import CMS, Open POs).
Import Management PC4: manage imports from Japan, Turkey, Vietnam, China; define volume splits based on forecasts, targets, and stock projections.
Daily Deployment RPA Management: blueprint, daily settings, issue checks.
Support Sales, Operation, and Execution meetings: create presentations and write minutes.
Orderbook Review and Weekly Release: Line Up updates (W Items), PLM.
Refresh OE reports to monitor current stock, FWC, and inventory strategy.
Support in regional firefighting and PC4 REP transversal projects: identify and report excess stocks (SMDS, DOT, obsolete), propose actions.
Advise regions on managing stock profiles for substitutions and NPIs.
Support stock offers and customer campaigns based on MDC/ELC stock.
Perform location rationalization analyses (volumes per location, optimal formats).
Review and implement Virtual Plant procedures.
Back Orders Analysis: monitor fill rate and back order situation, propose sales actions (substitutions, cancellations).
Manage rebalance IPCs between RDCs: coordinate shipments, inform Sales Order teams, manage transport.
Collaborate with production planners on production options and rebalances.
Education:
Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Business Engineering, or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Microsoft BI, or similar).
Attention to detail and organized approach to tasks.
Language Skills:
Fluent in English; additional languages (Dutch, French, etc.) are a plus.
Soft/Behavioral Skills:
Strong values aligned with Bridgestone’s behaviors: Agility, Courage, and Ownership.
Strong communication skills, with ability to present insights clearly.
Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Intellectually curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
Experience:
Experience in supply chain planning/operations is a plus.
Experience with big data/analytics is a plus.
