J&J IM is searching for a HEMAR Specialist/Manager to be part of our HEMAR Team based in Beerse, Belgium.

J&J Innovative Medicine Belux is recruiting a Health Economics Market Access & Reimbursement (HEMAR) Specialist/Manager to enforce the specialty care team working for Belgium and Luxembourg. This person reports to the Lead Market Access Speciality care.

Function description:

You will ensure access for patients to our innovations in our specialty care portfolio by combining scientific, economic and communication aspects:

  • You support/develop in co-creation with the Market Access Director and the HEMAR Lead, and execute the optimal strategy for local pricing and reimbursement dossiers and evidence generation, including health economic modelling and budget impact analyses, and ensure timely submission to local health authorities;
  • You actively support/contribute to the development of negotiation strategies and innovative financial MEA’s;
  • You ensure market access excellence by capturing events in the healthcare environment that impact market access and establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and key pricing and reimbursement decision makers;
  • You strategically plan/co-create and execute stakeholder plans;
  • You have a key role in the operating company departments to integrate market access strategies into product plans and cooperate with national and international cross-functional teams;
  • You support the European pricing and reimbursement groups with information on local pricing and reimbursement requirements and contribute to the European strategies;
  • You represent the company internally and externally with regard to market access and ensure presence at meetings with authorities, clients, industry associations and other partners regarding the pharma business.

Qualifications

  • A scientific background with market access experience in the pharmaceutical industry , preferably with a proven track record of performance;
  • Diplomatic and negotiation skills allowing you to reach a consensus between different partners;
  • Organizational skills: ability to manage multiple tasks/projects/priorities and complex issues;
  • You demonstrated ability to think strategically, able to zoom out to think holistically as well as to zoom in on details as needed;
  • Business acumen with high customer focus & strength in problem solving;
  • Deep knowledge of TA with strength in translating strategy into tactics;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects/priorities with adherence to strict timelines;
  • Dynamic and ambitious professional that proactively explores solution building in the face of obstacles;
  • Team player: partnership & team building with a sound understanding of the pharmaceutical business environment;
  • Persuasive written and verbal communication skills;
  • Languages: Dutch/French/English.
