Deloitte's Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3), is embedded within Deloitte’s Tax and legal practice, and is focused on advising a wide variety of organizations in their pursuit of the right government support by developing and executing an effective cash grants & tax incentives strategy tailored to their specific needs. Our Gi3 team, composed of scientists and engineers, provides specialist knowledge and hands-on assistance during the entire grants & incentives application processes.To sustain our rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced grant writer with a proven track record in the preparation and submission of regional, national, and/or European grant proposals.
You will work with diverse stakeholders from leading national and international companies as well as at small- and medium enterprises, the public sector and non-profit organisations on a broad variety of engagements. Supported by Deloitte’s portfolio of capabilities, you will be supporting R&D intensive companies in addressing complex challenges and bringing new discoveries and innovative solutions to life.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deploy your specialist knowledge on grants (e.g. regional, national, and European cash grants), and provide hands-on assistance to your clients with the preparation and submission of regional, national, and/or European grant proposals.
- Build client relationships and gain an in-depth understanding of their innovation and investments ambitions.
- Monitor trends in regional, national, and European cash grants landscape and share your expertise and knowledge with our team and clients.
- Drive quality and productivity of our client engagement teams by coaching younger team members to become experienced grant writers.
- Stay up to date with the most recent innovations, industry insights, and business drivers within your area of expertise.
Let's talk about you:
- You have obtained a scientific or engineering master’s degree, preferably in a domain such as IT, smart technology, mechanical engineering, data science (PhD is a plus).
- You have between 3 to 6 years of experience with a proven track record in grant writing and in the application processes of regional, national, and/or European cash grants (either through previous roles within the industry, academia or other consultancy firms). Experience with grant reporting is a plus.
- ou are a client-oriented person with entrepreneurial skills. You are a proactive learner, adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment, and enjoy working in a team.
- You are intellectually curious and want to work with clients developing innovative and state-of-the-art technologies.
- You have excellent communication skills and enjoy meeting new people.
- You have good analytical skills and are pragmatic in your solutioning skills with an eye for quality.
- You can handle escalations, resolve conflicts, and translate vague ideas and visions into tangible deliverables.
- You’re fluent in English and Dutch
To assist our clients in dealing with the intricacies of tax, our Business Tax team proposes the services of a multi-disciplinary team of specialists (lawyers, economists, accountants, IT-specialist, project managers), who are highly experienced. This experience spans assisting companies with corporate tax compliance, dealing with the complexities of local regulations and procedures - such as communicating with local tax authorities, setting up new registrations and filing returns. Our team in Hyderabad consists of professionals dealing with Corporate Income Tax compliance, pan-European Indirect Tax compliance, Statutory Accounting and general Project Management (including Engagement Coordination and Business Development).
