A FTTH Splicing Technician, is a skilled professional responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic cables and the precise fusion splicing of optical fibers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform fusion splicing to join optical fibers with minimal signal loss, ensuring high-quality connections
Strip, clean, and cleave optical fibers to prepare them for splicing
Handle and manage fiber optic cables with care to prevent damage or contamination
Conduct optical fiber testing
Troubleshoot and diagnose fiber optic cable issues, including identifying faults and breaks
Maintain accurate records of all splicing and testing activities
Ensure that splicing work meets industry standards, specifications, and customer requirements
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
Must Haves Qualities & Talents:
A deep understanding of fiber optics, splicing equipment, and optical network technology is essential

Laguages Dutch and/or French
