Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with a strong sense for UX/UI to help us design, develop, and optimize modern, scalable web applications that deliver outstanding user experiences. You will work closely with our backend and e-commerce teams to build engaging features, ensure excellent performance, and continually improve our webshop.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new features for our website in close collaboration with internal and external backend teams.
• Build modern, scalable frontend web applications with a strong focus on usability and performance.
• Create innovative features that sustainably improve the user experience.
• Develop and maintain reusable components, modules, and design systems.
• Integrate data from RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Plan and conduct A/B tests and work closely with the e-commerce team to implement data-driven improvements.
• Identify problems and develop solutions to improve responsiveness and engagement.
• Optimize website performance, from loading speed to responsiveness.
• Ensure web security and data protection from a frontend perspective.
• Debug, test, and continuously improve existing frontend functionality.
• Stay updated on the latest web and app technologies and apply best practices to strengthen our digital presence.

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on UX/UI.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS (SCSS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proven experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Proven experience with Figma to design, prototype, and implement UI concepts.
• Solid understanding of UX principles and keen attention to detail in screen design.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Shopware and/or Symfony is a plus.
• Experience with CMS or e-commerce platforms is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of version control (Git).
• A proactive, solution-oriented, and structured work approach combined with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Willingness to take ownership beyond assigned tasks.
• Openness to new technologies and continuous interest in industry trends.
• Fluent in English.
