THE OPPORTUNITY
GMED Healthcare BV is the Distribution Company for Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech sector, managing a vast network of Distribution Centers and financial flows across EMEA and affiliate deliveries worldwide.
Role overview:
The Financial Analyst will be focusing on managing the Fixed Assets in GMED, reporting to the GMED Finance Manager – Inventory & Fixed assets, within MTPO. This role takes ownership of the key processes under the Fixed Assets umbrella while collaborating and supporting key cross functional projects. The financial analyst will partner with Global services, BUF, Plan/Commercial leaders within the EMEA organization providing analytical, reporting and business partnering support related to content, forecasting and analyses.
The key responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
- Ensure seamless and accurate monthly/quarterly closing in close collaboration with Global Services Prague team, BUF and Warehouse partners.
- Systematically analyse and monitor CAPEX and Depreciation deviations providing transparency on GMED financial results in collaboration with Commercial Finance teams.
- Analyse, prepare and submit Monthly/quarterly BVAs, Latest thinkings, Budget cycles, etc.
- Review and ensure accuracy of analysis, challenge assumptions, and implements corrective actions. Proactively investigate and explain variances and ensure timely completion of financial reporting requirements.
- Build positive relationships with Global Finance/ MTPO and Commercial community driving consistent reporting and standardization.
- Promote and cultivate the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, compliance, and actively support our compliance program- related initiatives and activities.
- Proactively keep manager informed of business actions and issues.
- Drive process improvement, automation and simplification to streamline activities and tasks of the role.
- Support on a wide variety of current and future projects and initiatives. E.g. Lego, TranSCend, Skyline and SigniFi.
IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- A minimum of 2 years of finance and/or accounting experience is required.
- Ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- The ability to maintain and improve consistent and sound business processes in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment.
- Exposure to operations through working with the business in a global supply chain environment.
- Advanced Excel skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Data visualization & automation skills – Tableau, PowerBI & Alteryx
- Results driven with a strong ownership and accountability for results.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to execute continuous improvements, to work independently and to build effective business relationships.
