We are looking for a Design Architect to join our dynamic and international team of professionals. As a Design Architect, you will collaborate closely with senior architects and project leaders to drive the creative development, planning, and execution of a wide range of architectural projects—both nationally and internationally. You will be deeply involved in all design phases, from initial concept development and research to detailed design, presentations, and coordination with consultants and contractors. KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Assist senior and junior architects in creating conceptual and detailed design plans for various large-scale international projects, contributing creatively and strategically throughout all design phases
- Develop, coordinate, and oversee the creation of presentation and contract deliverables, including diagrams, 3D models, architectural drawings, renderings, physical models, and animations. Proficient in using a variety of architectural and design software (Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Enscape, V-Ray) to produce high-quality, detailed, and technically sound drawings
- Produce clear, compelling 3D models and visualizations using Rhino (including Grasshopper workflows), effectively conveying design intent to both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate initiative and innovation in design processes, contribute to the development of design standards and methodologies, and apply strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making with exceptional attention to detail, precision, and accuracy across all aspects of the design phase
- Communicate effectively with project team members and external consultants, ensuring smooth coordination across disciplines. Collaborates well with others in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and provides timely, clear, and efficient updates to the project leader
- Support design reviews, client meetings, and workshops by preparing documentation and presentations that articulate design narratives and strategies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, sustainable design practices, and emerging technologies, integrating them into project workflows to enhance innovation and performance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
- Fluent in English (Dutch/French is a plus)
- Minimum seven years in an architectural practice with experience in large-scale or international projects
- Advanced proficiency in Rhino (modeling, parametric/Grasshopper workflows) and ability to translate 3D models into realistic renders
- Demonstrates working proficiency in AutoCAD; Knowledge of Revit and BIM model management is a plus
- Strong understanding of all Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; all other Adobe Software knowledge is a plus
- Exceptional design sensibility and a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical precision
- Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills with the ability to address design challenges independently and collaboratively. Proven experience in developing conceptual ideas into practical and buildable architectural solutions
