Job Description
Cybersecurity is an always-on field, so you’ll stay advised of all the latest trends and compliance regulations and always be ready to conduct threat analysis, risk management, and incident response quickly and effectively. To stay on the front foot, our cybersecurity experts will be familiar with the latest security tools, implementing firewalls, and conducting vulnerability assessments.
Our cybersecurity colleagues will excel in ethical hacking and penetration testing, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other departments. This ensures that their assets meet security standards, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to safeguarding the systems. After all, there’s no cyber without cybersecurity.
As a Cybersecurity Expert, you secure applications and entire infrastructures by monitoring security incidents. You know the impact of these incidents on an organization and are also involved in incident detection and handling. You use a risk-based approach and draw up use cases to translate risks into concrete monitoring controls. This is how you add value for our customers. You play a key role in large security projects and contribute to optimal service delivery. In this job, detecting security risks is central. It is therefore logical that you come up with solutions to tackle problems. You find the innovation needed to protect companies from incidents. Keeping functionalities reliable and implementing innovations is therefore completely entrusted to you. You like to share the knowledge you have with colleagues, who are just as committed as you are.
Our team assists our clients with security audits, GDPR compliance, ethical hacking, red teaming, security strategy, cyber security incident response, etc. We place great importance on continuous training and obtaining relevant certifications such as CSX, OWASP, CISSP, CSSLP, CISA and CISM.
Qualifications

You have knowledge and experience of the following:
- You have at least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity
- You know how to work with log types and sources, e.g. Windows Event Logs, Sysmon, firewall and DNS Logs
- You know cloud security, infrastructure and architecture, e.g. Azure and AWS
- You can automate investigation and response activities (SOAR), e.g. via Powershell, Python or a scripting language
- You have experience with offensive security tools and techniques
- You have worked with log management and security monitoring software such as Elastic, Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight or Azure Sentinel
- You hold one or more professional certifications such as SANS Certifications, OSCP, CISSP, CISM, ...
- You have excellent communication skills in English and Dutch or French
- You can explain technical topics to different audiences
- You are customer oriented
- You are a team player
- You work efficiently under pressure
- You are flexible and have a proactive mindset
