As a key member of the club team, we are looking for someone to oversee the daily operations of the clubhouse and community.
This is an extremely people-facing role where you will be the first point of contact online or IRL for members and guests.
It is important to always remain calm, composed, and confident – with a mindset that there is no problem that can’t be solved.
Key Responsibilities:
o Greet and direct members and guests on arrival to the clubhouse
o Manage the daily diary and walk-in, online, and telephone reservations
o First point of contact for all general inquiries, notably private events
o Overseeing the maintence of the clubhouse and ensuring proper management of office and event supplies
o Coordinate with the management on the private events agenda
o Support colleagues and staff during busy periods, including welcoming & clearing tables
o Creation of the weekly community newsletter in consultation with the events team
o Maintenance of the Member Database, CRM system, and application process
Experience & Skills:
o Experience working in a position of administrator / front of house / customer service
o Computer literacy; Microsoft Office, social media, Mailchimp
o Interest in The Nine’s mission of gender equality & female empowerment
Languages:
o English in fluency is necessary
o Fluency in French / Dutch is desirable
Education:
o Your qualifications are less important than your experience and character
o We want to see that you have succeed in your endeavors; that could be a university degree, an entrepreneurial venture, a successful career in hospitality, etc.
o What you know is more important that where you learned it but you need to show us that you can apply what you know in this position

o Excellent organisation skills, able to multi-task

Schedule:
o This is chiefly a Monday-Friday 9-5pm position
o Possibility for Home Office once a week
o Flexibility with start time - occasional breakfast events require earlier opening
o Weekends off
Contract:
Employee contract or CIP 6 months contract with a view to full-time employment contract. Independent consultants also welcome if schedule aligns with their timing.
