The Actuarial Function at Allianz Benelux is seeking an experienced Model Validator to complement our team and elevate our technical excellence. Reporting to the Actuarial Function Holder, you will manage the internal model validation framework across P&C, Life, and Health insurance activities. Your role involves coordinating validation activities, engaging with model owners, and providing actionable recommendations to ensure quality and compliance with solvency regulations.

Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the internal model validation framework and conduct validation activities.
- Coordinate validation topics between Allianz Group, model owners, and the Supervisor.
- Collaborate with model owners to solve problems and provide guidance on technical topics.
- Write concise reports for Management, Board of Directors, and Supervisor.
- Manage stakeholders including Chief Actuary, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Underwriting Officer.
- Engage in continuous learning to keep pace with business, market, and technology evolutions.
Your Profile
You have a Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences or equivalent expertise acquired through experience. You possess strong working experience in solvency risk modeling, including asset & liability management aspects, and model validation. Fluent communication in English is essential, with excellent writing skills. A good level of Dutch and/or French is a strong plus. You are organized, curious, and enjoy collaboration in problem-solving. You can explain complex topics with simplicity and clarity, and you are flexible to travel between Brussels and Rotterdam one day per week.
