Job Description
As Workshop Technician you will be dedicated to workshop activities as:
1. Vehicle and engine preparation for testing activities: Replacing Engine and Vehicle components. Ensuring the correct function and smooth start of the engine for testing.
2. Vehicle alignment: Checking and aligning wheels on both axes within given tolerances. Tyre replacement and balancing.
3. Flashing ECU software: Downloading and flashing software provided by engineer on Engine ECU using dedicated equipment.
4. Vehicle and engine instrumentation for testing activities: Prepare and install different types of sensors and data acquisition systems like: thermocouples/pressure sensors/accelerometers /connecting acquisition systems.
5. Metal welding (TIG/MIG welding skills are a plus).
6. Vehicle evaluation: Test driving the vehicles to confirm that vehicle behavior after parts replacement.
7. Vehicle masking: Masking of prototype vehicles using foil/ tape based on project standards.
8. Transmission: Replacing transmissions and clutches.
9. Troubleshooting / Diagnosing mechanical or electrical problems: Working with repair manuals, wiring diagrams, using Multimeter, oscilloscopes, and Diagnostic tools.
10. Stock management for vehicle spare parts and consumables.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Qualified mechanic with a minimum of two years of practical experience in a Mechanical Workshop.
- Minimum B2 English
- Valid Driving license in Europe
