The End-to-End Optimisation Center is the only department that optimises the gas and liquid supply chain at the Group’s boundaries, managing both cost optimisation and resilience. As a pillar of the Cluster industrial direction, the E2E Center creation is one of the major changes of the transformation and is expected to strongly contribute to value creation. The E2E Center is responsible for defining the best optimisation scenario and its execution.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
As an Optimization Analyst, you will be trained to understand the Air Liquide operations, its network of industrial assets (plants, pipelines, energy sourcing) and the contribution of analytics/optimization tools in the Air Liquide business.
As part of the Large Industries team, you will deliver efficiency gain, optimize our energy consumption and decrease our carbon footprint through the set up of optimization models.
In particular, you will (i) develop our optimization solutions (ii) train the end users and follow the good use / continuous improvement of our tools (iii) ensure that our operational decisions follow the optimal strategy.

Education
The ideal candidate has a Master Degree in Engineering (or Science) with some additional digital or mathematics orientation
Hard and soft skills
Team player, Project management: you will work in an agile project mode within multidisciplinary, international and junior/senior team members.
Taste for new challenges and digital transformation
Analytical Skills: You will need to be able to use data and analytical tools to propose optimisation, build models and support decision making.
Communication Skills: English is a must, French or Dutch are a plus
Willing to take ownership: in this challenging project, it is crucial that the Analyst feels responsible & accountable of his/her deliverables
Skills in process engineering: interest and general knowledge of the process industry (i.e. hydraulic machines, process control, etc) will help in assessing new potential case studies for the business.
Interest in chemical processes: particularly the air separation process and the steam methane reforming processes.
