Description
As a Senior Insight Manager, you are determined to activate change for great brands through a passion for data and consumer insights. You will develop into a rounded project manager who is trusted by internal senior people and the client for the entire management of (large) quantitative projects. You will create activity guides that will perfectly answer the client objective and reports that will inspire action, with only light support from seniors (except for complex and strategic projects) and actively contribute to the commercial success of your team, by nurturing growing client relationships and/or unlocking commercial opportunities with (small) prospects.You will form part of a team of 23 enthusiastic marketing insight consultants working for some of Human8’s biggest clients across 2 main sectors: beauty & luxury and FMCG .
Responsibilities
Project Management- You are considered a project management specialist.
- You actively manage complex projects (e.g., multinational, multi methodology, etc.) with light direction from seniors.
- You serve as a point of escalation for junior consultants.
- You share expertise with others and can delegate to junior colleagues.
- You interpret the information needs of the client on a range of different projects, translating this into overall project design and the right Solutions to use.
- You act as an independent researcher (content manager) who can design all types of activities to a high standard

- For more complex activities, you play a more active role in supporting the team and seniors.
- You act as an independent researcher (content manager) who adds value through commercially smart and impactful conclusions and recommendations, with light direction from seniors.
- You deliver high quality outputs consistently, that receive positive client and internal feedback.
- You share expertise with the junior consultants.
- You know your way around SPSS, Square Surveys and other Human8 QT tools.
- You regularly and confidently give impactful presentations to clients, with light support from seniors for the most strategic projects.
- You receive positive feedback from colleagues and clients alike.
- You are expected to contribute to the design of high impact client workshops / brainstorms and actively participates in delivery.
- You have a thorough understanding of the bigger part of the Solutions within our portfolio (beyond Primary research) and can work with it.
- You are known for having built great client relationships and pass on expertise to junior consultants.
- You are confident in different client settings.
- You know the emotional levers that the clients have and can pull them.
- Your focus is on existing clients, getting involved in account planning, assisting review meetings and client outreach to new DMUs.
- You actively work on professional profiling and commercial skill set, connecting better with different clients.
- You show a broad knowledge and understanding of the full portfolio and can independently interact with clients about it.
- You actively look to develop the business we have with a client, by making new contacts at the client side.
- You can independently design proposals for simple projects and support seniors for the more complex proposals (e.g., programmes, structural, etc.).
- You assist with competitive client pitches.
- You actively share, follow-up and activate sales content, in line with the team commercial strategy and actions.
- You support the development of junior consultants through on-the-job coaching.
- You share your experiences and best practice tips (e.g. how they can manage their time / projects).
Qualifications
- We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and encourage all qualified candidates to apply. Preference may be given to those with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social sciences, public policy, business, or related disciplines).
- Ideal candidates will also possess strong quantitative skills and approximately 4–7 years of relevant professional experience.
