Senior Accountant

As our Senior Accountant, you will:

• Manage and reconcile GL accounts.
• Be responsible for the monthly and year-end closing process for VYNCKE NV.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including VAT and Intrastat returns, financial statements, and corporate tax filings.
• Prepare for external audits and assist the Accounting Manager throughout the process.
• Ensure compliance in line with accounting principles and regulations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports, and provide analyses regarding our financial situation for relevant stakeholders.

We imagine our ideal candidate would:

• Hold a master’s degree in economics or accountancy & finance.
• Have at least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an industrial and international setting.
• Have solid knowledge of VAT and tax regulations.
• Be a strong communicator who enjoys taking initiative and supporting improvement projects.
• Have a sharp eye for detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have good knowledge of Dutch and English.
