Role Purpose:
As a member of the Country Servicing Business Services Team, the role is responsible for filing local tax reports (VAT, Income tax, and other tax reports) and accurately updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers, and other records. This includes recording accounting information and consolidating it to assess accuracy and compliance. m
Responsibilities:
Monthly IFRS closing of group companies:

Monthly VAT and Intrastat declarations, as well as Corporate Income Tax filings;
Calculating and processing advance payments of Corporate Income Tax;
Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet and profit & loss accounts;
Preparing and monitoring provisions (water tax, sand and gravel taxes, property tax, etc.);
Supporting the monthly analysis of general expenses;
Assisting with administrative obligations related to dividend payments/receipts;
Preparing tax files, including gathering information and documentation;
Assisting with the annual IFRS closing of group companies;
Assisting with the year-end statutory closing of group companies (including preparing financial statements);
Preparing for and assisting with tax audits;
Maintaining relevant tax accounting documentation, tax position reports, correspondence, etc.
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting – Taxation
Over 7 years of relevant experience (preferably in a larger accounting firm as a file manager, responsible for corporate tax returns, VAT, and other tax obligations)
Well-developed sense of responsibility
Accurate and precise work ethic
Comfortable working as part of a team and communicates effectively
Results-oriented with a strong focus on deadlines
Willing to undertake annual training to stay updated on the latest developments, especially in taxation
Good IT skills (MS Office) and knowledge of accounting software
Knowledge of SAP will be an asset
Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
