In October 2025, Courtyard by Marriott Ghent will open its doors with 174 rooms and the brand-new Scala Event Center, with a capacity of up to 350 people. For the commercial and operational launch, we are looking for an enthusiastic Reservations ME Coordinator. In this key role, you combine hospitality with organization and serve as the main point of contact for both individual guests and corporate clients.

What does your role involve?

You’ll play a dual role, being responsible for both room reservations and meetings events:

• You handle individual room reservations via email, phone, or online booking channels. You ensure accurate, smooth, and customer-focused processing in the reservation system.
• You coordinate group requests for meetings and events from A to Z: follow up on inquiries, prepare quotes, communicate with clients, and create event schedules in consultation with the team.
• You liaise with internal departments such as Sales, FB, and Front Office.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor's or master’s degree in hotel management, tourism, economics, business administration, or a similar field.
• Preferably, you have experience in a similar role within the hotel or events industry.
• You are digitally savvy and proficient in reservation and planning systems such as PMS software (e.g., Opera), Excel, and communication platforms.
• You communicate clearly and professionally in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Additional language skills (French, German, Spanish…) are a plus.
• You work accurately, keep an overview, and can easily switch between different priorities.
• You radiate warmth in customer contacts and ensure a worry-free experience, time and time again.
