Our helicopter maintenance process must run like a well-oiled machine - and as a Production Planner, you are a crucial part of making that happen.
You support both the preparation and execution of the maintenance by planning and aligning all tasks, tools, spare parts ánd resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Maintenance Planning:
- Allocate working hours to specific tasks based on maintenance requirements and the information given by our CAMO department;
- Ensure that all tools, materials, and spare parts are available to the engineers on time;
- Translate technical information from maintenance manuals into our internal planning system to streamline and automate recurring tasks.
- During Maintenance Execution:
- Monitor the ongoing progress of work to adjust and optimize workforce planning in real time;
- Maintain close communication with engineers and chief engineers, ensuring consistent and effective two-way feedback;
- Liaise with Type Engineers on received work orders and coordinate their technical execution.
- Post-Maintenance Follow-Up:
- Record all completed work accurately in the system, including actual man-hours spent;
- Compare planned versus actual manhours to improve future planning efficiency;
- Report any discrepancies or data errors in the planning database.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with the Maintenance Planner and the Supply Chain departments to ensure smooth workflow across all phases of maintenance;
- Propose and test system improvements aimed at increasing planning accuracy and process automation;
- Continuously seek for opportunities to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and optimize resource allocation.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a candidate with - preferably - knowledge of aircraft maintenance or a technical degree in aviation technologies.
- Ability to operate within defined company procedures (operational, quality, safety, etc.)
- Strong planning and organizational capabilities
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively
- Having problem-solving skills
- Proactive attitude with a focus on efficiency and improvement
Languages
- English: Professional level (spoken, written, understood)
- Dutch: Professional level (spoken, written, understood)
- French is a plus
