Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a Process Lead Fill & Finish who is visionary, results-driven, and technically skilled to join our Large Capital Projects Delivery team, based at our UCB campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Wallonia, Belgium.
About the Role
You will lead the development of a new state-of-the-art sterile injectables manufacturing facility as part of a strategic €200M+ investment program. You’re going to oversee the design, integration, and qualification of all process equipment, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll collaborate with internal experts, external partners, suppliers, and cross-functional teams (quality, automation, engineering) to ensure project success. You will act as the primary point of contact for all Fill & Finish process decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Define and design aseptic filling and visual inspection equipment
- Be responsible for digital integration and GxP compliance of process systems
- Manage process design, qualification, and validation phases
- Lead technical reviews (HAZOP, FMEA, QRA) and support regulatory audits
- Mentor and coach project team members
- Ensure operational readiness and smooth transition to manufacturing
Interested? For this role, we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills
- Degree in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field (Master or PhD)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in CAPEX projects in biotech/pharma industry
- Expertise in aseptic filling, visual inspection, and sterile equipment
- Knowledge of digital tools and automation for smart manufacturing
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
