We are seeking to recruit a new colleague in our Sales team supporting the further growth of the Orion Animal Health business Division.
In this role, As a Medical Account Manager, you are responsible for the promotion and sales of veterinary medicines, health products and medical instruments.
Your role is critical for maintaining and expanding Orion’s presence in a competitive and highly regulated market.
About your role
In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to both clients and the organization.
You will seek to understand the customers needs and translate these into effective sales strategies that align with organizational goals.
Your role will involve proactively identifying new commercial opportunities and maximize existing ones, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty, driving repeat business. Additionally, you will share customer insights with departments like Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain to help improve products and services.
Your expertise in sales, combined with your strategic mindset, will support the organization’s growth and development while fostering and maintaining strong relationships with veterinary clinics, distributors, and key accounts.
This role will report to the Sales country manager BELUX for Orion Animal Health.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage and develop long-term customer relationships by translating scientific knowledge into the daily practice of the veterinarian.
- Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty, driving repeat business
- Convincing veterinarians of the added value of our products.
- Actively prospecting and networking to build new collaborations.
- Analyzing the competitive market and responding strategically.
- Ensures that customers understand and comply with the legal framework for veterinary medicines Assists clients in the correct and compliant use of Orion’s products.

Our expectations
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications and experience level:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in a scientific, paramedical or commercial field.
- 5 years of proven experience in sales.
- Language skills: Fluent in Dutch (verbal and written) and at least working knowledge of French and English.
- Knowledge of veterinary and/or pharmaceutical market.
- Ambitious and eager to learn

- A continuous improvement mindset to maximize and maintain strong relationships with veterinary clinics, distributors, and key accounts Adaptable to change and able to work effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment.
