Function
We are looking for an intern of 3 to 6 months for our Finance department (part-time or full-time). You will help with following tasks:
- At first, you will have a strong focus on operations & close:
- Processing of invoices and ensuring that they are paid in accordance with tax and local regulations
- Review of outgoing payments
- Processing of transactions on bank accounts and internal suspense accounts
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Monthly VAT declaration
- Outgoing invoices
- Depending on your ability/willingness to learn, the term of the internship and your background you will also be involved in:
- Our internal control over suspense account
- Preparation of Monthly closing (IFRS 16, IFRS9)
- Support in financial reporting to the NBB
- Liquidity monitoring support
- Client taxation and corporate income tax
Profile
You are a student looking for an internship as part of your university program.
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field.
You have excellent skills in French or Dutch, and a good command of English
