DG & ACS Duty Manager Night

Due to growth of our business we are looking for a DG & ACS Duty Manager for the night shift to strengthen our working force. We expect the DG & ACS Duty Manager to plan, organize and control their part of the sort operation of Brussels Hub in the most optimum and efficient manner in order to ensure that cost, productivity, service, safety and quality targets are achieved.

What are your tasks?

• Coordination of all operational DG & ACS departments during the night.
• Lead, guide, motivate and inspire your team and acts as a role model related to the values of the company.
• Ensure performance regarding connectivity of all shipments without any movement delays.
• Adhere to all relevant quality standards.
• Enable a safe working space for your operational areas, and ensure Safety is the top priority for your teams.

• Respond with appropriate actions in special situations which may affect the service. If necessary, escalate issues to the proper contact and/or responsible manager. • Close cooperation with the other duty managers and be a team player.

• Identify improvement opportunities within the process.
• Implement and execute tools for process improvement (GEMBA, First Choice, …).
• Optimization of working processes in coordination with the whole team.
• Comprehensive reporting.

• High commitment to excel.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Several years of operational network knowledge + DHL knowledge within the network.
• Fully qualified within the area of air freight and/or logistics studies or equal long standing qualifications.
