The Clinical Scientist (CS) team consists of scientists overseeing clinical trials, as well as translational and biomarker specialists. We are looking to hire a Clinical Science Coordinator to provide operational and organizational support to our Clinical Science team.
As a Clinical Science Coordinator, you will play a central role in supporting the team's performance. We are seeking someone who takes pride in efficiently and compliantly organizing the team’s diverse tasks and who is eager to work closely with a broad group of professionals with different expertise. In this role, you will identify the team’s needs, create overviews of ongoing projects, and collaborate with Clinical Scientists to facilitate information sharing and team learning. You will also work with other functional areas to strengthen interactions beyond the Clinical Science team. The level of the position will be determined based on the experience of the selected candidate.

Main Roles and Responsibilities
1. Co-develop the Clinical Scientist Team as a Cohesive Group
o Identify the needs of the team to scale efficiently and maximize clinical science leadership within cross-functional teams
o Stimulate and facilitate sharing of learnings between clinical scientists
o Support and coordinate CS team meetings and team-building activities
o Assist with onboarding processes for new team members
o Develop and maintain oversight of Clinical Science training curricula, job aids, and relevant documentation
2. Cross-functional Area Liaison
o Serve as a liaison and stimulate interactions between Clinical Scientists and business functions within Clinical Development and beyond (e.g., Medical Affairs, Statistics, Data Management, Regulatory, Senior Management, etc.)
o Facilitate workshops and presentations between Clinical Science and other relevant functional areas
o Understand the business needs of the team and the scientific context, and, with support, represent the team’s scientific and operational needs in business/process workstreams (e.g., training, documentation, IT process improvements)
Profile
· Master’s degree with at least 4 years relevant industry experience; PhD is a plus
· Understanding of the drug discovery and clinical development process
· Competencies: Proactive, well-organized, team player, excellent communication skills, focused, and able to maintain an overview
· Experience with program or project management is a plus
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be agile in adapting to a changing environment
· Proficient in standard software applications such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and document and data management systems (e.g., Veeva, SharePoint)
· Fluent in English – this is our working language and a mandatory requirement
