The Chief Licensed Aircraft Engineer, oversees maintenance projects from pre-input to post-delivery. Responsibilities include ensuring aircraft release complies with technical and regulatory standards, collaborating with SLAE's and LAE's for check progress, maintaining communication with stakeholders, participating in daily activities with Base Maintenance management (e.g., Resource Planning Manager, Engineering Services Manager, Hangar Manager) to ensure Part145 compliance, planning input checks and allocating tasks, managing Senior LAEs, and supporting staff welfare. They should demonstrate enthusiasm, positivity, and adaptability to meet company demands.

- Certify and oversee aircraft release from base maintenance.

ABOUT YOU
- EASA category ‘C’ licence (preferably hold current EASA B1 and/or B2).
- Will hold and maintain a minimum of two appropriate fleet types.
- Will hold a minimum of five years active certification.
- Ability to hold and maintain appropriate company approvals specific to role.
- Understand EASA part-145 requirements and Human Factors.
- Excellent communicator (In English, Dutch and pref. French), flexible and solution focused.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent knowledge of company’s engineering operating systems.
- Flexible in their working hours to meet the demands of the role.
