The Finance Business Partnering team has a strategic role in the organisation. Our team supports the full organisation in driving financial profitability forward and helping the organisation achieve its financial objectives. This by focusing and conducting in-depth analysis of financial performance, trends, macro-economic and competitors situation, KPI's on our current financial situation and identifying areas of improvement from business perspective as well as from the perspective of internal processes and tools.
Job Summary
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key strategic role within the Terumo Interventional Systems Business Unit. You will provide financial insights that support informed decision-making and drive sustainable, profitable growth.
You will support planning and controlling activities, analyze financial performance, and offer clear, actionable recommendations to business stakeholders (Marketing, ComEx, Communications). With a continuous improvement mindset, you will enhance processes and tools while fostering strong, collaborative partnerships across the business.
Job Responsibilities
As a Finance Business Partner, you will support the Terumo Interventional Systems (TIS) Business Unit by delivering financial insights that drive sustainable and profitable growth. Your key responsibilities include:
Financial Planning & Analysis: support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning (LRP) activities. Provide clear financial analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring: Analyze P&L, monitor expenses, and explain variances to support data-driven decisions.
Project Support: Contribute financial expertise to business cases, new initiatives, and tool development.
Process Improvement: Enhance financial processes and tools to increase efficiency, transparency, and data reliability.
Collaboration: Act as a trusted partner to BU leaders and cross-functional teams, fostering strong relationships and shared accountability.
Profile Description
- Education: university degree in Applied Economics and/or Controlling or proven experience
- 1-3 years previous Controlling/Finance experience in international environment
- Acts as a business partner and proactive team player
- Is open for change, challenges the status quo and drives improvement
- Analytical skills. Strict methodology necessary, setting strict milestones, and adhering to these
- Well organized, focused and determined
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Other languages is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Advanced level of IT (S4 Hana, SAC, PBI, MS Office).
