At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our UniQue team.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Administer, configure, and manage AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for AWS-related issues, promptly investigating and resolving operational problems.
- Provision and maintain virtual machines, storage, and databases on AWS, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Manage and optimize AWS networking components such as VPCs, subnets, route tables, VPNs, and Direct Connect.
- Automate the deployment and management of AWS resources using CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Develop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks, including instance management, backups, and scaling.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with Amazon AWS services, including IAM, EC2, ALB, CloudFront, CloudFormation, WAF, Monitoring, Storage, and Cognito.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Proficiency in managing and securing VPC networks, firewalls, and access control.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, and Prometheus.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required (B2 level).
