Accountant (interim)

As an Accountant, you’ll keep us sharp, clean, and ready for what’s next
You’ll own key areas of the general ledger and make sure the monthly close is delivered accurately and on time — from preparing journal entries to validating reconciliations. Your role is essential in maintaining the reliability of our financial data. But you won’t stop there. You'll also dig into discrepancies, explain variances, and collaborate with teams across Loop to make sure accounting stays aligned with the business. You’ll be part of a team that values consistency, but welcomes change, and together, you'll keep improving the way we work.
Your other responsibilities:
- Support external audits by keeping documentation clean, organized, and ready
- Help drive improvements and automation in accounting workflows
- Keep our internal processes and memos up to date and scalable
- Step in for teammates and build a strong, reliable team culture
- Work closely with non-finance teams to solve questions and build alignment
How you’ll succeed as an Accountant
You bring a healthy mix of structure and flexibility. You enjoy getting the numbers right, but you also like asking “why” when things don’t add up. You’re detail-oriented enough to spot errors quickly, and curious enough to keep learning. Clear communication is key — especially when you’re helping others understand accounting in plain terms. You’ll thrive here if you like consistency, care about quality, and don’t mind when priorities shift.
These key competences will set you up for success:
- 5+ years of core accounting experience, with solid ownership of GL and month end close processes.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial systems (SAP S4/HANA is a plus)
- Able to explain accounting concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience producing audit-ready documentation
- Strong attention to detail with a flexible, team-first mindset
