IDEA Consult is offering an internship opportunity within our Innovation, Competitiveness & Sustainability (ICS) team. We’re looking for inquisitive minds ready to contribute to evidence-based policy and strategic advice in the following domains:
- Innovation & technology deployment
- Competitiveness & sustainability
- Science & research policy
Who are we looking for?
You’re a PhD student (nearing the end) or a recent PhD graduate in economics, political sciences, innovation or science & tech studies – or something similar.
You’re fluent in Dutch or French, and your English is top-notch.
Curious, analytical, and eager to put your research skills to work on real-world policy challenges? Then we’d love to hear from you!
What will you do & learn?
- Gain experience in translating academic insights into actionable policy advice for public and private stakeholders.
- First steps in consultancy work, combining research and real-world impact.
- Work alongside a dynamic team of 75+ researchers and consultants.
- Contribute to the analysis of complex challenges through literature reviews, interviews, and data analysis.
- Support project teams with client communication, proposal drafting, research, reporting, and presentations.
