Team Leader of Assembly

You will join a Belgian SME in the Kortrijk area, a leading manufacturer of industrial machines in the laundry sector with international clients in sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, and industrial laundry. The organization designs and produces its machines entirely in-house in West Flanders and is known for its quality and technical expertise. About 60 employees work on-site.

What will you do?

As a Team Leader of Assembly within our company, you are responsible for dividing tasks within your team, leading and motivating your colleagues, and ensuring good collaboration. You oversee the proper follow-up of the necessary output of your department.

Who are you?

• You are interested in machine construction
• You have a technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience
• As a team leader of the assembly, you are responsible for quality, continuity, and efficiency within the assembly department
• You are solution-oriented, persistent, and have a hands-on mentality: if necessary, you roll up your sleeves and get involved yourself
• You organize and assign tasks, set priorities, and determine the order of activities
• You are a team player, communicate smoothly, and make clear agreements
• You handle conflicts diplomatically and promote a positive working atmosphere
• You guide and support new employees
• You identify problems or bottlenecks that could hinder the assembly process and actively seek solutions to prevent future issues
• You ensure safety, order, and cleanliness in the workplace
