As a Strategic Workforce Analyst , you support Telenet’s strategic workforce planning and people analytics agenda and ensure that our future workforce needs align with the company’s long-term business strategy. You will gather and analyze workforce and labor market data, collect the inputs to build models and dashboards, and create actionable insights to help leadership anticipate and respond to workforce shifts. This is an ideal role for someone who loves combining data with strategic thinking to make a tangible business impact.
Your responsibilities as a Strategic Workforce Analyst
Prepare
- Collaborate with the people analytics team (part of our tribe) to design the data foundations needed to develop a skill- based Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) framework.
- Lead ETL processes, data exploration, and technology/tooling assessments to establish a future-proof way of working in strategic workforce planning.
Analyze
- Collect and analyze internal workforce data and external labor market trends.
- Develop and maintain workforce models and projections (supply/demand, gaps, roles segmentation, scenario modeling), to anticipate future talent needs and gaps.
Steer and advise
- Translate data insights into planning assumptions and strategic narratives.
- Prepare reports and visualizations for HR and senior leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Talent, Talent acquisition, Learning, and HRBPs to identify critical roles and future skills. Support the embedding and operational translation of SWP within broader organizational planning.

Our ideal Strategic Workforce Analyst
- Master's degree with a focus on data science, analytics, statistics, or economics.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR analytics, business analysis, or strategic planning.
- Proficient in advanced analytics, AI/ML, analytics tools (Snowflake, Oracle, Qlik, Python) , as well as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with knowledge in statistical and ML methods relevant to People Analytics/SWP.
- Ability to autonomously deliver projects while collaborating with a team of experts within the People and Workplace Tribe.
- Curious, analytical, and able to simplify complex information.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-player mentality.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of workforce strategy.
