Job Description
We are seeking a skilled LabView Software Developer to enhance, maintain, and optimize software for complex scientific instrumentation, working closely with lab users and data scientists in Leuven.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain sophisticated LabView software for complex scientific instruments
- Collaborate with lab users to improve workflow efficiency and resolve technical issues
- Design and implement interfaces between hardware systems and data processing platforms
- Optimize existing software architectures
- Manage version control and software documentation using Git
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software-related challenges
Technical Skills:
- LabView Core 1, 2, and 3
- Performance optimization
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Teststand
- DIAdem
- Git version control
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Actor Framework
- FPGA programming knowledge
- PyTorch familiarity
- Certified LabView Architect
- Additional programming language skills
- Background in life sciences instrumentation or R&D environments
- Skills in:
- Advanced software design and implementation
- Hardware-software interface development
- Performance optimization techniques
- Robust debugging and problem-solving skills
