Raiders Athletics, ISB’s Athletic Programme, is committed to providing ISB students the opportunity to compete and develop their skills in a wide range of sports. On the courts, fields, and in the pool, students build and test their character.
Raiders Athletics is currently looking for a seasonal part-time coach for the ISB Athletics Soccer programme at the U14 level during the Fall season (August-November). Practices are held before and after school two times a week. Competitions take place on the weekends (usually Friday and Saturday). Teams travel throughout the season to various locations within Europe.
Key Accountabilities
Skills, aptitude, and knowledge:
- A commitment to deliver excellent, energetic coaching sessions where all students can develop their skills, be challenged, and have fun.
- Have an excellent working knowledge of a particular sport – technical, tactical, and physical.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and progress coaching sessions for varying abilities.
- Communicate effectively with children and their parents/guardians.
- Be or become thoroughly familiar with the rules and regulations relating to the sport coached.
Personal Qualities:
- Excellent communication skills with children, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Patience, punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.
- A desire to share your passion
- Able to work in a small team.
- Pleasant and enthusiastic disposition with a team spirit.
- Sense of humor.
Qualifications:
- Have a passion for soccer and working with young people.
- A background in soccer as either a competitive player or coach.
- Understanding of Child Protection policies.
Employment Status
The Volleyball Coach positionn is open to all ISB teachers and employees but is also open to externals (through Interim Agency or freelance).
