Job Description
As one team, our People Operations’ (part of People Services) vision is to create fast, convenient, transparent Wiser support, powered by smart tech and human advice. Your role as a Senior People Operations Specialist will pave the way in promoting a seamless and customer-focused experience across the employee lifecycle, and supporting our people (we call them Wisers) to do what they do best at Wise.
To help us get there, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to own the overall People experience for our Brussels Wisers across a number of business functions in Brussels and beyond. You'll provide important support, insight and sound recommendations for policy and process changes, and ensure key stakeholders are continually informed of legislation, law and regulation updates.
You’re someone who’ll keep us on track and compliant, ensuring our operational engine ticks along nicely, but you’re also inquisitive and hungry for new ways we can handle, process, and improve the Wiser journey and experience… it's that inclusive growth mindset which is key to the success of our team.
You’ll also play a vital role in how we do things as a global team, collaborating on key projects and unlocking big-picture and analytical thinking to help grow and scale our offering, while creating efficiencies and process improvements and ultimately ensuring the Wiser experience is at the forefront.

Assist the People Operations (POps) Lead in promoting the People team's ticketing desk, managing traffic across our inboxes and communication channels in line with SLAs, acting as an escalation point for the team to resolve blockers, and ensuring a smooth and positive Wiser experience
Develop and monitor ticket/query data dashboards, analysing the data to build insights, and collaborate with the People Services team to address identified issues through continuous process improvement
Support our Effective Leaders in providing key updates and data, with support from the wider People team
Co-ordinate audit requests, with support from our People Risk & Compliance team, to ensure operational compliance, identify key findings, and provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls and procedures
Be our team's Workday champion to ensure data accuracy and optimal working practices
Oversee benefit administration processes in partnership with any relevant third parties, ensuring we maintain timely and accurate records, liaising with our vendors as required to ensure we continue to offer a rewarding and consistent benefits package (e.g., medical and insurance policies)
Support the Payroll team with necessary documentation and/or information needed to process changes (e.g. new joiners, Wisers relocating, etc)
Maintain and update TimeWise workbooks to ensure operational excellence across our time-related processes
Keep informed about local employment laws and working practices, sharing this knowledge with relevant stakeholders and teams to support regional and global initiatives
Proactively review our current and evolving operational processes, guidelines, documentation and Confluence pages (across all aspects of the Wiser journey from onboarding to offboarding) and continuously identify improvements to help us scale the impact of the People team without compromising the Wiser experience.
Wider team/business focus areas
Provide data analysis to understand our Wisers' needs and improve processes where possible through automation and deflection
Role-model our ways of working across the team, providing mentorship and backup support
Contribute towards our planning cycles, sharing ideas for improvements and projects
Deliver on cross-team projects and initiatives, focussing on the Wiser experience and embracing tech where possible
Keep informed about local employment laws and working practices, updating our processes, policies and guidance as necessary to remain compliant
Provide support to the team and wider People team as required with other ad-hoc tasks, focus areas and project-based work (e.g., People Partners, Risk & Compliance, Employee Relations, Payroll)
Embrace opportunities for growth by taking on tasks beyond your formal job description, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and professional development as part of the Wise Mission
