THE ROLE
Delivery, Senior Manager Belgium and Luxembourg
The Payroll Service function is primarily focused on Managed Payroll Services (MPS) and as a Senior Manager, Payroll Service you will ensure that all operational deliverables mentioned in the contract meet the agreed service levels. This is a key leadership role with direct responsibility for up to 12 Managers, Payroll Service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Across all countries, a Senior Managers, Payroll Service role and responsibilities are to:
Maintain operational proficiencies of multiple accounts by managing the delivery of payroll services and operational requirements of the client as outlined in assigned contract
Provide support and advice to direct reports on service level and contract requirements, standard data architecture, standard payroll service, business process, technology, people management, client related and compliance matters
Provide operational and service level data to the customer and/or the account manager as requested to build confidence and credibility in the services being provided. Act as an escalation point for customer issues that are not managed at the level of the Manager, Payroll Service
Ensure cross-platform compliance and regulatory standards are met
Conduct quality assurance reviews of all projects at defined checkpoints
Drive and sustain performance results, as well as execute business and communication plans
Review and analyze current payroll, HRIS, benefits, and tax procedures in order to recommend changes leading to best-practice solutions in partnership with the Service ACE team
Deploy the standard payroll service to each account and overseeing deployment of the payroll control center functionality for accounts that run on euHReka and SAP
Accountability for monthly Leadership reporting completed by your Managers, Payroll Service. The reporting metrics include Referenceability, Project Status, CR target and Missed SLA justification
You will also act as the go-to person for Operations team members in the location(s):
The person who ensures that the location has effective support from HR, Finance, Facilities and IT
Ensure the people working at the location have a sense of community
Escalation point for local issues
Conflict management
Manage Security Incident Procedure
Improvement Plan: prepare and follow up
Provide feedback and input to Project teams (CMS, PCC, Waste Hunt etc.)
Ensure and organize backup
Actively participate in the Recruitment process
REQUIREMENTS
Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently while adhering to processes and procedures
BA/BS in a business-related field such as Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education & experience
5-8 years relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment.
HRIS knowledge: Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft knowledge preferred
Experience managing a team
Fluent French writing and verbal skills
