Are you passionate about shaping and improving survey research solutions at scale?
We’re looking for a strategic, forward-thinking and experienced Consultant to join our Global Survey team at YouGov Shopper. In this high-impact role, you’ll contribute to the development and enhancement of our survey portfolio—helping to refine concepts, improve consistency, and scale solutions across markets and teams.
You’ll work closely with the Global Survey Lead and other internal stakeholders to adapt existing approaches, strengthen operational flows, and support strategic initiatives around Why2Buy and ad hoc surveys. From solution development to operational alignment, this role offers a hands-on opportunity to influence how survey solutions are designed, implemented, and communicated across the business.
If you excel at managing cross-market projects, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy turning strategy into execution, we’d love to hear from you.
Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement, balancing your time between the office and home. We’re committed to supporting your work-life balance while fostering collaboration on-site.
This role is based in Europe and is open to multiple locations. To be considered, you must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
Regrettably, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship, candidates must have the permanent right to work in the country where they reside.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
Product management
- Contribute to the development and refinement of survey research solutions (ad hoc and “Why2Buy” surveys), ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational feasibility;
- Support the implementation and scaling of successful approaches, adapting them from one market to broader application where relevant;
- Collaborate on portfolio adjustments to align with the YouGov Shopper integration strategy;
- Help maintain and improve commercial tools, including pricing schemes, rate cards, and internal training materials.
Cross functional process management
- Assist in the coordination of survey project workflows, supporting consistency across markets and teams;
- Support the Global Survey Lead in managing internal processes across departments within YouGov, including sampling coordination, quality topics, and mitigation measures
Global Project management
- Oversee and coordinate international (syndicated) projects (e.g. Behaviour change, WCWD), including timelines, fieldwork, weighting methodologies, and the implementation of changes
- Manage selected multinational client projects (e.g. multi-country ad hoc projects)
- Support the project management of global initiatives stemming from our thought leadership, such as behaviour change campaigns, ensuring seamless integration and cross-functional collaboration
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- Master’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in ad hoc research
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
- Good understanding of project management processes for surveys
- Experience of multi country projects
Behavioural competencies:
- Demonstrates an open-minded and collaborative approach
- Communicates confidently and clearly across teams and stakeholders
- Takes initiative and shows a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and continuous improvement
It would be great if you had these too, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- Experience with advanced analytics
- At least 1 year of experience working at a senior level
