We are looking for a driven and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to join our expanding Benelux team.
Reporting to the Benelux Sales Director, this role is responsible for the successful management and growth of a defined portfolio of key account customers, while proactively identifying, targeting, and onboarding new business opportunities in line with our commercial strategy.
You will play a critical role in strengthening our market presence, building long-term partnerships, and delivering value-driven solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the long-term development and retention of your designated portfolio with Biocair’s Strategic Key account customers
- Be required to maintain and continue to build loyalty and close relationships within this customer base including revenue growth and retention of the base
- Builds, manages and develops a pipeline of prospects among companies in the healthcare environment, including Pharmaceutical & Biotech, Laboratories, R&D.
- Manages and develops a customer portfolio in the specialist healthcare logistics environment, including Pharmaceutical & Biotech, Laboratories, R&D. Provide data for the quarterly business review and ensure follow up actions are completed.
- Ability to question effectively and understand the customers’ need and value, in order to propose the appropriate solutions and meet the client requirements. Ensure the proposed solutions are in line with the existing products portfolio and roadmap.
- Negotiate contracts with clients both existing and new working cross departmentally to achieve the desired commercial outcome.
- Supports the EMEA Sales Director with the sales forecasts and planning aligned to agreed targets
- Delivers a roadmap with clear milestones to develop the Business Unit in collaboration with the General Manager / Country Manager

Proven success in developing business in the logistic and/or transport services, ideally in the specialist courier niche market

- Demonstrated experience in experience in high-level negotiations, regulatory and contract management
- Proven ability to win and onboard large new business (national and multinational accounts)
- Proven track record of achieving targets
- Strong Analytical mentality

Please note this is a full time role, 37 hours per week Monday to Friday and is field based with at least 1 day per week in attendance at our office in Belgium.
