Senior Business Analyst – Credit & Lending Transformation (DUTCH C1)
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Remote Work Possibility: yes (2-3 days a week on the client´s office)
Type of Contract: Permanent Contract preferably
Mandatory Languages: Dutch and English (C1 minimum)
Eligibility: Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium.
Job Overview:
We’re on the hunt for a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong background in banking or insurance, particularly in credit and lending domains. If stakeholder management, process analysis, and digital transformation are your bread and butter, keep reading — this gig might be your next challenge.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in the banking and/or insurance industry
- 5+ years managing stakeholders in project-driven environments
- Proven track record as a Business Analyst, Process Engineer, or similar
- Fluency in Dutch and English (C1 level or above – you're expected to talk the talk)
- Hands-on experience working in Agile teams
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to see the forest and the trees
- Skilled in gathering, aligning, and translating business needs into actionable insights
- Deep understanding of credit processes (mortgage/lending = big plus)
- Proactive attitude — you spot the iceberg before the Titanic hits
- Communication ninja: clear, transparent, and able to tailor your message depending on who’s listening
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing, structuring, and challenging business needs to identify value-driving improvements
- Acting as the bridge between business and IT on a strategic replatforming project for credit services
- Translating business requirements into clear deliverables for development teams, vendors, or partners
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring alignment with business goals throughout the lifecycle
- Thinking beyond the "ask" — proposing smarter, leaner, and more data-driven ways of working
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels (internal & external)
- Maintaining transparency by communicating clearly on priorities, risks, and progress
