The Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria Brussels, the premier palace of the capital, is looking for a passionate and experienced Security Officer to join its security team. If you have a strong sense of service and solid experience in private security, this position is made for you!
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and protection of the hotel’s guests, staff, and infrastructure.
- Manage the hotel’s security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control, etc.).
- Respond effectively in case of an incident or emergency, including providing first aid.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a secure environment that adheres to established standards.
Profile Required:
- Experience: 4 to 5 years of seniority in private security, ideally in the hotel sector. Experience in other sectors is also accepted.
- Qualifications: Holder of a valid security officer card.
- Nationality: EU citizen or Belgian (professional card required).
- Languages: English and French are essential. Knowledge of Flemish is an asset.
- Certifications: Up-to-date first aid certifications are highly desired. Firefighting certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Work Conditions: Available to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Background: A clean criminal record is required.
- Technical Skills: Excellent command of IT tools and security technologies.
- Physical Condition: Good physical fitness is required for the demands of the position.
