As Sales Director, you will be responsible for the profitable growth of paper machine clothing in the DACH region. This includes the following tasks in particular:
- Developing sales strategies.
- Reviewing and fine-tuning the growth strategy for clothing in the forming, press, and dryer sections in relation to regions, types, customers, and products.
- Developing and proposing pricing strategies and monitoring price developments.
- Reviewing the sales budget for assigned regions.
- Monthly monitoring of gross margins.
- Analyzing loss leaders or negative gross margin trends and formulating corrective measures.
- Monitoring KPIs for the department.
- Development of employees in the department.
- Hierarchical and disciplinary responsibility for the team.
- Experience in managing a sales team.
- Experience in the PMC or the papermaking industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel as required (+- 50%).
- Fluent German and English, other European languages are an advantage.
