For our client - offering an innovative connected medical device and its dedicated mobile app - we are looking for somebody to take over the Head of Operations & Production role.
You will contribute to:
• Structuring and managing the production processes of our medical device and accessories.
• Leading supplier relationships (sourcing, negotiation, quality follow-up).
• Improving and monitoring inventory flows, parts ordering, and component availability.
• Refining assembly workflows and implementing effective quality standards.
• Designing and optimizing processes for returns, repairs, and refurbishment.
• Monitoring operational performance and proposing continuous improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards.
We are looking for:
• Experience: 5–10 years in a technical or product-oriented environment, ideally with experience in a startup or scale-up.
• Education: Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Expertise:
o Setting up and managing small-scale assembly lines.
o Supplier sourcing and management.
o Implementing and maintaining quality assurance systems in manufacturing.
o Working within circular logistics systems (returns, repairs, refurbishment).
o Mindset: Solution-oriented, structured, autonomous, and able to identify and address operational weaknesses.
o Languages: all written documents and deliverables are in English.
