Job Description:
We are looking for a versatile Junior to Medior Developer to join our a team of talented developer within the Commission.
You will be involved in the maintenance and evolution of several internal applications, working closely with project managers and senior developers.
Your day-to-day tasks will vary depending on ongoing projects and current maintenance needs.
Main Responsibilities:
Bug fixing and application maintenance
Technical migrations , including updating dependencies and improving compatibility
Development of new features , often involving integration with other Commission services (internal and external APIs)
Writing tests and documentation
Participating in both frontend and backend development , depending on project requirements
Profile & Skills:
We value specialization, but flexibility is especially appreciated. You should be comfortable working across different layers of the stack:
Frontend: Angular (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, HTTP requests)
Backend: Symfony (PHP, integration of REST and SOAP APIs, Symfony configuration)
Database: Oracle (complex SQL transactions)
Other technologies: Regex, SPARQL (used in specific projects)
Familiarity with external API integration , particularly for legal document processing
Interest in or experience with AI-related tools is a plus
