KYC Analyst – Data Gathering Strategy & Optimization

Joining our tribe means you will be part of our mission to design and implement lean and digital client and non-client facing solutions that are paperless, automated and online enabling a seamless customer onboarding and review eperience. You will help us optimize our customer outreaches processes and digitalize them.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented business analyst with +/- 3 to 5 years eperience to join our data gathering authority team. This role will focus on the design and implementation of efficient data gathering processes for obtaining, verifying, and maintaining Know Your Customer (KYC) data while minimizing customer impact. You will play a critical part in automating data collection, validation and storage processes, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and KYC requirements whilst at the same time optimizing the operational workload.

Your impact

Some of the key things you would be doing are:

  • Zero touch data actualization – You will drive and develop the data actualization strategy and help us pivot from time triggers to event/risk triggers. You will design processes to ensure data is always actualized and as up to date as possible whilst at the same time limiting direct customer interaction, prioritizing automation and digital outreach processes.
  • Data sourcing strategy - You will play a key role in driving the data sourcing strategy for KYC for client onboarding, time driven reviews and event driven reviews by proposing and designing ways to limit direct client interaction. This will include eploring how to derive the data from internal sources and how to obtain the data from eternal sources.
  • Data validation & storage automation – You will work with tooling teams to automate the data validation and data storage of KYC data to minimize manual intervention and operational workload. You will play a key role in ensuring data storage and validation processes are efficient, accurate, up-to-date and compliant with established policies.
  • Code optimization: Maintain & refine the data actualization code enabling to automatically determine which data points are missing or need updating. Own the logic of the code and the interaction with tooling teams to improve the code increasing our automated capabilities.
  • Optimize data gathering process – Optimize the data gathering process from an E2E perspective to ensure data gathering is efficient, that operations are correctly using the data gathering tool/systems and that productivity targets can be met. You will help us to ensure that the data gathering process is supported by clear instructions for operational teams and that tooling is fit for purpose. You will also assist operations with meeting data gathering quality targets.

  • Process implementation eperience: the ability to translate paper-based customer due diligence policy requirements into real life operational processes that are efficient, simple, and customer friendly
  • Non-financial risk management: understanding of non-financial risk management principles
  • Know Your Customer process knowledge: the understanding of KYC requirements and processes during onboarding, review and offboarding

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Administration, Finance)
  • 3 to 5 years eperience in similar role
  • Eperience in KYC, compliance, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and methodologies
