As a Jr. Product Developer, you will play a key role in supporting the design and development team throughout the entire seasonal product lifecycle—from initial concept to salesmen samples—ensuring alignment with brand goals and business vision. You’ll help shape seasonal collections by analysing our target consumer, researching trends, developing design proposals, and collaborating closely with our VF APAC-based sourcing team. You’ll also work hand-in-hand with Merchandising and Marketing to prepare and present the collection to Sales. Your contribution will be essential in building a compelling and commercially successful product range.

How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
Supporting the creation of seasonal collections, with a focus on colour palettes and mainstream print stories.
Developing design proposals and visualizing concepts through mood boards and online/offline trend research, while keeping an eye on competitors.
Translating ideas and sketches into physical samples, working through technical details such as fabrics, finishes, trims, bag constructions, tech packs, quality standards, and testing protocols.
Collaborating cross-functionally with VF APAC sourcing, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive development.
Understanding costing and pricing structures, especially for commercial styles, and considering factors like material costs, labour, and manufacturing locations.
Managing samples, acting as the go-to person for internal sample support across Product, Marketing, Preview Show setups, and E-commerce.
Assisting in the creation of visual tools, including PowerPoint decks, Excel sheets, and Word documents to support collection line planning.
Skills for Success
Experience in a similar role within fashion or lifestyle product design and development - internships or masterships are welcome.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field (a plus, not a must). A curious mindset and strong interest in fashion and/or retail, with a sharp awareness of current trends.
The ability to multitask, anticipate needs, and work proactively in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-haves that make you stand out:
A passion for drawing or the ability to sketch ideas visually.
Awareness of developments in AI within the creative sector and how they might influence design and product development.
Familiarity with creative software such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop—or similar tools.
Experience with video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or other movie-making tools.
