Your key roles & responsibilities:
Wyre’s IT organization is looking for an IT Business consultant to join the team. As an IT Business consultant, you maximize the business value by defining and evaluating the business requirements and their impact across processes, organization, network and systems. You facilitate the solution direction in close collaboration with the internal and external stakeholders.
Your role will mainly be geared towards the IT systems supporting the End-to-end fulfilment and assurance processes.
- You analyze business needs and strategic challenges, and translate them into high-level, reusable solution directions aligned with Wyre’s IT vision and roadmap.
- You define and consolidate cross-domain requirements, promoting standardization and avoiding unnecessary complexity or fragmentation across teams and systems.
- You contribute to the multi-year IT roadmap by assessing initiatives for coherence, scalability, and long-term business value.
- You facilitate and document proposed solution approaches in close collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader IT capabilities.
- You define acceptance criteria and take ownership of the End-to-End validation of solutions, including coordination of testing activities where needed. You act as a trusted advisor and central point of contact, ensuring consistent documentation, clear scope definitions, and shared understanding across stakeholders.
Our ideal IT Business consultant
- You have a master's degree in a business or technology domain or comparable experience and have at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- You are fully proficient in Dutch and English , and can easily switch between both languages in a professional context
- You have the ability to challenge the existing situation and steer towards innovative and performant solutions
- You have knowledge of business and operational processes
- You have IT affinity and experience
- You have experience collaborating on cross-functional projects, effectively bridging teams and driving successful outcomes.
- You have the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice-versa.
- You are experienced in gathering and translating business requirements into tangible product and service capabilities.
- You can see things from a broad perspective (“helicopter view”).
- You have experience in stakeholder management. You can collaborate seamlessly with both internal and external stakeholders by building long-term relationships. You are familiar or have at least interest in the telecommunication sector.
